Jeff Baker is a Partner at Weller Development Partners. He leads all aspects of the real estate development process including acquisition, design, entitlement, permitting, financing, and construction. Mr. Baker is currently overseeing the firm’s new business pursuits and ground-up development projects including a transformative waterfront development in Grand Bahama. He previously led the development and execution of Port Covington’s Chapter 1 phase, overseeing 1.5M+ square feet of mixed-use commercial, multifamily, hotel, and retail uses totaling over $500M in development value.
Mr. Baker brings more than ten years of real estate experience, concentrated on urban infill, mixed-use development projects located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He previously worked at The JBG Companies on the development team, where he worked on several large-scale, mixed-use developments including JBG’s current headquarters 4747 Bethesda Avenue. His other projects at JBG included 7900 Wisconsin Avenue, 4749 Bethesda Avenue, 5600 Fishers Lane (Department of Health & Human Services, 1M SF build-to-suit) , and the Signet Condominiums. His projects totaled 2.5M square feet and $900M in development value. Mr. Baker earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornell University.
